Petroleum Jelly

Petroleum Jelly, also known as Petrolatum, white petrolatum, soft paraffin or multi-hydrocarbon is a semi solid mixture of hydrocarbons originally promoted as a topical ointment.

As a skin protectant, it is use for myriad of ailments and cosmetic purposes. It is mostly use for its lubricating, coating and moisturizing potentials. Petroleum Jelly can be use to coat corrosion-prone items such as metallic trinklets and non-stainless steel blades prior to storage as it serves as an excellent and inexpensive water repellant.

It can be use to finish and protect wood. It is also use as useful material for candle wax formulas. Turraco Petroleum Jelly is available in snow white form, as Thosco brand and as our own inhouse brand, WPJ152.
