Diisononyl Phthalate

Diisononyl phthalate (DINP) is a phthalate used as a plasticizer. DINP is typically a mixture of chemical compounds consisting of various isononyl esters of phthalic acid.

DINP is used in a diverse range of industrial products such as electrical wire and cables, flexible PVC sheeting, coated fabrics, automotive parts, building and construction (waterproofing), vinyl flooring, footwear, sealings, lamination film and in PVC containing school supplies (such as scented erasers and pencil case).

It can be blended into paste (plastisol) for coating (tarpaulins, synthetic leather and wall covering) and rotomoulding (toys, play and exercise balls, hoppers) applications. DINP is used in non-polymer applications such as adhesives, paints, surfactants and printing inks for T-shirts.

For additional information and documents about DiIsononyl Phthalate DINP or how we can supply your organization, please give us a call, send us an email or contact us here:
