Turraco is proud to bring you its cost effective and quality range of activated carbon filters and filtration equipments available in three major models, namely series S, M, and L. The trio series of activated carbon filter are now available in Nigeria and across Africa. It covers different flow rates, ranging from 0.7 cubic meters (700 litres) to 38 cubic meters (38,000 litres) per hour.

Our range of activated carbon filters are widely used for color and odor removal, pesticide and trace heavy metal removal, de-chlorination of RO feed water, adsorption of refractory and trace organics in wastewater treatment.

Product Details

1. S Series (0.7 m3/h to 2.0 m3/h)
The S series filters use granular activated carbon to remove chlorine and contaminants that cause color, odour and unpleasant taste in water. Suited for domestic and light commercial applications, these filters can be used as fine polishing unit to improve taste and appearance of water.

2. M Series (2.1 m3/h to 9.5 m3/h)
The M series is designed to match the demands on large commercial sectors. The M series ACF systems operate between flux ranges of 10 to 15 m3/m2-h, an optimum range to perform an efficient adsorption process. Ideally suited to handle treated and filtered wastewater, these filters help achieve BOD levels of less than 10 mg/l in sewage treatment units.

3. L Series (9.6 m3/h to 47.0 m3/h)
The L series features FRP vessels with top and side manhole that enable easy replacement of exhausted activated carbon. Designed for high volume adsorption, these filters can be used for varying contaminant and hydraulic loads, which are typically observed in industrial scenario, without much decrease in adsorption efficiency.
